Simply clean the area, remove the blue backing film and press into place. It requires at least 70 degree room temperature or the use of a heat gun or hairdryer. You can remove by applying heat from a hair dryer or heat gun and peeling it away. Any adhesive residue can be removed with alcohol or “goof off”.
